What is metal chasis?

A metal chassis is essentially the frame that houses and supports the internal components of an electronic device, such as a computer or audio amplifier. Typically made from steel or aluminum, a metal chassis provides sturdy protection for the electronics inside and often includes mounting points and/or channels for cables and other components. The use of a metal chassis can also help with heat dissipation and electromagnetic shielding. Additionally, metal chassis designs can vary greatly in terms of size, shape, and ease of assembly or customization.
